Ready for Something New? Don’t Fear the Renovation
Renovating your bathroom can be a daunting task, but you don’t have to be afraid! With the right plan in place, you can create a beautiful new space perfect for relaxation.
Where do you start?
First, it’s important to make sure you’ve got your style down. You want your new bathroom to scream “you!” If it doesn’t match your personality and taste, it’s going to be harder for you to relax or find peace.

Colors
What colors do you like? Are you into deep hues or light, airy colors? Color can do a lot to enhance any design.
Style
What’s your style? Are you industrial, midcentury modern, boho, minimalist?
If you’re not sure of your style, a good place to start is, of course, the internet. There’s no shortage of inspiration out there, so hop online and look at some pictures to see what speaks to you. Another neat trick is to try and find something, perhaps a decorative piece or artwork, that you love and definitely want to have in your new bathroom, and build your look around that item. If you don’t have that item, that’s okay, head to the store and find an object to fall in love with.
Budget
Remember to create a budget for your renovation. It’s easy to get carried away when you’re redesigning, so make sure you set a budget and stick to it as closely as you can.
What product or products should you use?
All right, you’ve got your design figured out, so now it’s time to get started on the actual renovation. The next element you need to consider is what products you should include in your new bathroom. What product you choose largely depends on your relaxation and bathing habits, as well as your space.
If you like taking long, relaxing baths, you should think about getting a soaking tub. They come in many different styles and looks – especially if you go with a freestanding tub. Those are classy and can be incorporated into any design. If available as an extra feature, consider equipping your new soaking tub with jets for some nice spa time whenever you want.
Soaking in a tub isn’t for everyone, though, and that’s okay. If that’s the case, there are plenty of shower options out there that come in a multitude of different styles and designs so you can find one that fits perfectly into your space.
But who says you can’t do both? If space permits, why decide between a tub and a shower? It’s so easy to include both options in your design. Take a look at your space and think about the look you want. If there’s enough space, you can easily get both a freestanding tub and a shower stall. If not, then tub showers are a great option as well, as they save space and provide all the benefits of both a shower and a bathtub.

Things to keep in mind
When you’re designing your bathroom, don’t forget about storage space. Whether it’s baskets, shelves, cabinets, or drawers, you’ll need a place to keep things like towels, toiletries, and makeup.
And finally, whatever you do with your new space, remember to have fun with it. Your bathroom should be your oasis where you go to relax, so make sure you’re completely happy with it.
